What KeyMob is

KeyMob reads an iPhone or iPad from your computer. Connect the device, trust the computer, and you can see what iOS already records: how much CPU an app uses, what it logs, why it crashed and what it writes to disk.

KeyMob runs on Windows and macOS. The device stays unmodified. You do not need a jailbreak, a companion app on the device or an SDK in your build.

Area What you get
Performance Live CPU, GPU, memory, frame rate, network and energy charts, for one app or the whole device.
Live logs System and app output as it is written, filtered by process, app name or keyword.
Crash reports The device’s crash logs, exported, symbolicated and formatted for reading.
Files Browse, upload, download and delete user, app, system and log files. App data can be decrypted.
Apps Install and uninstall IPAs, view details, permissions and directories, and start or stop processes.
Usage history Up to six months of per-app records: run times, hardware used and energy consumed.
Device UDID, iOS version, storage, battery health and serial, configuration profiles, screenshots and simulated location.
Network Capture The Network Capture menu item opens SniffMaster, which provides packet capture.

Apple’s tools for this work are Instruments, the device Console and Xcode. All three run only on macOS, most need a project open, and several work best with a debug build. A debug build is not what your users run.

KeyMob talks to the device services directly. You do not need a project or a rebuild, and the numbers describe the build you actually shipped.

  • KeyMob does not jailbreak the device or bypass the passcode. The device must be unlocked and must trust your computer.
  • The network counter in Performance measures volume only: bytes in and out, not request contents. To inspect requests or decrypt HTTPS, use SniffMaster.
  • KeyMob does not debug web pages inside a WebView. For that, use WebDebugX.
  • Android is not supported. KeyMob works with Apple’s device services only.

The counters come from the operating system, not from your framework. Apps built with Objective-C, Swift, Flutter, React Native, hybrid H5, Cocos2d or Unity3D are all measured the same way. Mini-programs running inside a host app can be measured separately.

  • Computer: Windows 10 or later (x86_64), or macOS 10.15 or later.
  • Device: iPhone or iPad on iOS 12 or later, unlocked and trusted.
  • Windows only: the Apple device driver and the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime. See Install.
